Lexi ag Tabhairt Sonas don Nead! 

Bhí cuairt an-speisialta ag daltaí Nead Bhliain 8 le déanaí ó Lexi, madra teiripe ó ADNI. D’fhoghlaim muid faoin traenáil speisialta a fuair Lexi, an obair iontach atá déanta aige go dtí seo agus na bealaí inár chuidigh sé le daoine ina shaol gearr go dtí seo. Bhí deis againn orduithe agus cleasanna a dhéanamh leis – fiú gan focail! An rud is fearr a d’foghlaim muid ná, nuair a chuireann níos mó daoine lámh air, bíonn sé níos suaimhní…rud a chur muidinne ar ár suaimhneas chomh maith! 

Lexi Bringing Happiness to An Nead!   

The students of Year 8’s Nead recently had a very special visit from Lexi, a therapy dog from ADNI. We learned about the special training Lexi has received, the great work he has done and the ways in which he has helped people in his short life thus far. We had the opportunity to try commands and tricks with him – even without words! The best thing we've learned is that when more people touch him, he becomes more relaxed... something that puts us at ease as well!
